Description

St. Mary's Lighthouse can be found overlooking the beautiful beaches of Whitley Bay and Tynemouth. Decommissioned in 1984 the lighthouse no longer omits light but is in fact now lit with external lighting to show off it's beautiful white walls. The lighthouse is open to visitors and offers spectacular views from the top, there is also a small museum and cafe at the base.
